V8 Supercar star Craig Lowndes has joined Suzuki as an official Ambassador, it was announced today.
One of Australia's highest-profile and most popular motorsport personalities, Lowndes is also a passionate motorcyclist and will work alongside Suzuki to promote its brand and products.
"Motorcycles have always been an important part of my life … I use a motorcrosser for fitness training every day on my farm and I love attending ride days to unwind, so I am super excited to be onboard with Suzuki," Craig Lowndes says.
"The new Suzuki GSX-R1000 is an awesome bike, just amazing, I can't believe how good it is, and the new RM-Z450 is a fantastic race-winning package."
The four-time Bathurst winner and three-time Australian Champion will carry the Suzuki brand proudly on his V8 Supercar helmet and racesuit, and will be a special guest at the Suzuki facility at this year's MotoGP, an event he attends regularly.
“By winning multiple championships, Craig has a demonstrated passion for performance on the race track that is perfectly matched to the Suzuki Motorcycle brand,” said Perry Morison, General Manager Motorcycles, Suzuki Australia.
“He is an ideal person to represent the Suzuki brand.”
Lowndes will also attend the Australian Superbike Championship round at Queensland Raceway this weekend to meet Team Suzuki.
