FUNDRAISER FUNCTION:

SUPPORT THE CREW FROM CITY2SUNRISE

Those of you who joined the recent TRAIL ZONE/ORE ride to Wyangala Dam may have spotted three guys in matching clobber on well-travelled Suzuki DR650s. Mat, Paul and Tom are three of the four-man City2Sunrise team who rode their bikes 16,000km across difficult terrain in South East Asia to raise money for Sunrise Children’s Villages, an amazing Australian charity that provides love, shelter and much-needed education to 200 Cambodian orphans.

So far the boys have raised over$100,000 and some of this has already been spent on renovations and building work at the Siem Reap orphanage. Their entire adventure was covered in five great issues of TRAIL ZONE (Issues #26 to 30) and features on the upcoming In The Zone 4 DVD.

The boys were joined in Cambodia and Laos by Brian Lorimer, a highly respected Canadian artist. Brian was deeply moved by the plight of local children and was inspired to paint some magnificent works of art featuring the kids and their surroundings. Brian and his wife Margie are coming to Australia to help raise more money for SCV by auctioning his masterpieces at a fun and exciting party at Sydney’s famous ArtHouse Hotel.

Please respond to the invitation below and go to the www.city2sunrise.org web site to join the gang for a fantastic evening where you’ll meet SCV’s President, Geraldine Cox; the artist himself and the whole City2Sunrise team. As well as having loads of fun, you’ll have an opportunity to see (and bid for) several of Brian’s beautiful paintings.

Join TRAIL ZONE in supporting these epic adventurers and the great cause they promote!
