HUSQVARNA GOES BANANAS!

WILD MILLE V3 HUSKY CONCEPT BIKE

Whatever substances the Husqvarna R&D crew in Italy are partaking of, we want some!

Take a look at this gnarly machine Husqvarna unveiled at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan this week.

It’s called the Husqvarna Mille 3 Concept, and as the name suggests, it's a V3!

Husky has grafted three water-cooled cylinders from their dirt bike range onto a common crankcase to make a 993cc V-triple -- with the front two cylinders parallel and the rear cylinder vertical.

They then shoehorned the powerplant into a custom chassis and lowered the beast to within an inch of its life.

The Mille 3 must be an absolute blast to ride in a straight line ... but one has to wonder what happens when you reach the first corner!

Nevetheless, here's hoping the crew at Aussie Husqvarna importer, the Paul Feeney Group, can air-freight this showpiece Down Under in time for the fast-approaching Australian Motorcycle Expo in Melbourne at the end of the month. She'd be a dead-set show-stopper this one!
